Our Mission
Violet Daffodil House is a naturalistic floral studio guided by season, intuition, and care. Each arrangement is a quiet act of creativity: expressive, intentional, and deeply human. More than flowers, it is a space for connection, ritual, and belonging.
Our mission is to create custom, wild, and meaningful floral arrangements and experiences that feel personal, grounded, and inspired — connecting people through flowers and creativity.
Our Roots
Violet Daffodil House was created by artist, Isabelle Racette. Isabelle is drawn to bold texture and soft color palettes within her compositions. With a background in fine art and painting, Isabelle combines her knowledge of the principles of art and flowers to create ephemeral works.
She prefers to design with locally grown florals, especially when she is able to harvest them herself. Her deep connection to the earth and intuition is at the forefront of her mind when creating.
OWNER + LEAD DESIGNER
Meet Isabelle
The inspiration for Violet Daffodil House:
Since my first season in floral design I thought about how I would run my own shop. When I found our space in Marshfield, I knew it was the perfect place to put down roots.
Years in floral design:
8 whole seasons!
Who's the dog?
Dolly! She's the real boss of Violet Daffodil House. However, she'd take treats as payment so we don't let her do the books.
Favorite design projects:
Micro Weddings and Small intimate gatherings have my heart.
Favorite Flower:
Daffodil! But specifically “Apricot Whirl”
When I'm not working, I'm:
Being feral in the woods with Dolly, just girls being girls. Or making pottery…and buying it mostly.
Go-to after wedding meal:
A big a** burger. We should, but sometimes florists don’t eat on a wedding day until after the event.
Let's make something beautiful together
Whether you're looking for an arrangement, planning your next big event, or want to stop into one of our workshops, we'd love to hear from you.
